This modern, steel-framed building in the heart of Hackney Central offers two versatile studio spaces, available to hire individually or together, making it a highly flexible option for film, TV, commercial and photographic shoots.
Both studios share a clean proto-industrial aesthetic, defined by suspended steel service ducting, concrete floors and bright white walls. The neutral interiors provide a blank canvas that can be dressed easily or shot as-is for contemporary, urban scenes.
Studio 101 is a bright, open and roughly square space of approximately 1,100 sq ft, measuring H 3.8-3.3m x W 8m x L 12m. A large fixed south-facing window floods the space with excellent natural daylight throughout the day, complemented by strip lighting. The studio also benefits from an efficient ceiling-mounted heating and cooling system. A sink with hot water and small tea-making area, along with WCs, are located just outside the studio.
Studio 102 offers a more elongated layout and is ideal as a secondary working space. Measuring approximately 516 sq ft (H 3.8-3.3m x W 4.2m x L 11.8m), the studio is long and narrow, with a large fixed east-facing window that captures strong morning light overlooking the street. Like Studio 101, it features exposed industrial services, strip lighting and an effective heating and cooling system. Tea-making facilities and WCs are located in the communal corridor adjacent to Studio 101.
The two spaces work particularly well when hired together, with Studio 101 often used as the primary shoot space and Studio 102 serving as a setup area, holding space or client chill-out zone.
Situated on a busy East London street, the building benefits from strong urban energy, excellent transport links and nearby parking options, making it a practical and production-friendly choice.
